We specialize in report writer solutions for mainframes.

We offer two general purpose report generators (z/Writer and Spectrum Writer) as well as more specialized report generator products: one specifically for SMF files (systems performance) and one specifically for DCOLLECT files (DASD usage).

We also have report generators specifically designed to replace various of CA's reporting products (including Easytrieve, VISION:Results, VISION:Report and CA-Earl.) We have very successfully replaced CA products at a number of shops (including banks, insurance companies, and even at one of the companies that originally wrote one of CA's report generators.)

IBM chose one of our products to bundle as their report generator with the IBM Tivoli Usage and Accounting Manager product. A number of other software companies have also chosen to bundle our report generator solutions with their own software products.

The chief of large systems of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has called our SMF report writer "one of the greatest SMF record parsing programming languages I've ever seen."

Pacific Systems Group products are now in use at more than 300 computer sites worldwide, including many Fortune 500 companies. Pacific Systems Group was originally headquartered in the Silicon Valley area of Northern California, and presently operates from the the Pacific Northwest.
